North Shore Animal League - Katrina Relief

Hollingtons.com, one of the nation’s premier custom embroidery companies, made a $5,000 blanket donation to the North Shore Animal League of America to help the pet victims of Hurricane Katrina. Over 250 fleece blankets were hand delivered by the Hollingtons team directly to the NSAL. While the blankets may be used for a variety of purposes, the main use will be to keep pets warm in both rescue and general day-to-day efforts.

"Hollingtons has a philosophy of enjoying the good life, and the good life, in our opinion, cannot be fully enjoyed without the loving company of a best friend. It is devastating to both families and their best friends to be seperated by such a disaster. The comfort of warmth is the least Hollingtons can provide. The real credit goes to the NSAL America and it's dedicated volunteers that make a real difference."

North Shore Animal League America is the world's largest no-kill pet rescue and adoption organization, and just happens to be located in our general area. The NSAL America has been successfully placing homeless pets into loving homes for over 60 years. It is the best place to adopt a pet.
